Fashion cognoscenti have adopted Miuccia Prada’s jolie laide aesthetic as an urban uniform. Even
as her design choices contradict convention,
they simply result in further devotion. This silk
dress deliberately counters tradition by using a made-at-home technique – dip-dyeing – for a

[Dress] Shirt-dress of tie-dyed silk in beige, black, green and blue. Appliquéd leaf-like shapes are scattered across the skirt and embellished with plastic tubular beads. The skirt is full and three-quarter length. The sleeves are three-quarter length. The dress is fastened down the centre-front with buttons.
[Collar (neckwear)] Collar of black silk satin, designed to be tied at the back, worn with the short apron-like panel encrusted with beading at the front.
[Belt] Black silk belt with silk covered buckle.
