Jar and lid of burnished grey earthenware. Bowl-shaped, with three moulded feet resembling elephants trunks, and flat base; with sloping shoulder, and two upright handles pierced and moulded with "rice-grain" pattern and hatching in low relief. Domed lid with flat top. Thinly potted, with gloss outside.
