physical_description
The body of this single moulded figurine shows: ornamentations of jewellery around the arms and ankles; a sash about the waist with one of the ends hanging down the left leg; the phallus is indicated; walking is suggested by the right knee being drawn up and the foot being drawn back; the palms of the hands are held together on the chest in the attitude of supplication, similar to that at Sanchi and Barhut. The face is weathered and the hair is gathered into a single knot.
