physical_description
Pale yellowish earthenware amphora covered with a thick alkaline glaze, once green but now decayed to an iridescent whitish colour. It has a disk foot, globular body composed from the sides to give a sharp-shoulder angle, and another at the point of greatest width, above the foot. A narrow cylindrical neck, flaring at the mouth; two small vertical loop handles at the junction of the shoulder and neck. Horizontal grooves were scored round the neck and lip, and there are traces of straight slanting slices round the sides.
