This costume design by Lez Brotherston is part of an extensive collection of designs donated to the Theatre Museum by the artist in 2002. The design was executed for a production of Leos Janacek's opera "The Cunning Little Vixen" performed by Opera Zuid at the Theater aan het Vrijthof, Maastricht, on January 21st 1995. The production was directed by Aidan Lang, conducted by Julian Reynolds, choreographed by Andrew George, and lit by John Bishop. The cast included Anne Dawson as the Vixen.
Costume design for the Pub Landlord. The design depicts a three-quarter length male figure wearing a 19th century style costume. The costume consists of a yellow and red striped shirt worn under a pair of dark brown trousers, light brown apron, and a large black belt. The figure holds several beer tankards in his hands. Unsigned by the artist.
