physical_description
Grey-green jade mottled and partly calcified. A slender bar tapering in thickness towards the bottom and also towards the head, which is capped by a roof-like finial. Below this is a section with concave sides banded in the middle with two thin ridges. The slightly-tapered body is divided into four sections by similar pairs of ridges, each part having in relief a pair of leaves or petals springing from a common base and curving round the edge to meet their opposites. Below a single ridge at the bottom the tapered, inset tip is pierced by a hole drilled from both sides.
