public_access_description
Argentinian artist Catalina Chervin's drawings are not planned, and she does not make preparatory sketches. Instead she builds up an initial 'framework' by first covering the paper with short lines. She lets her hand move freely, allowing the drawing to emerge. The result here is a dense labyrinth of visceral forms, perhaps derived from the artist's early medical training.
