This figure of a naked figure was found in the temple at Abydos during the excavations of 1902-1903 and was a gift of the Egyptian Exploration fund.
The nude figure is seated with knees close to the body and the left arm bent.
Although the present ivory is much decayed and the head and the right side are missing, this little ivory figure is remarkable for its beauty.
