Panel of buff earthenware, painted in colours over a white slip. Rectangular. Modelled in high relief with two putti on each side of a bearded hermal figure holding a garland attached. The figures are painted in manganese purple and brown; the pedestal of the herm in blue; the ground dull light green, all against a background of formal green leaves reserved on turquoise blue. The date is incised at the top of the pedestal; and in the bottom right hand corner is an incised signature apparently 'Solon'.
