Advance publicity poster produced in 2000 advertising the world prmiere of The Witches of Eastwick, at Drury Lane Theatre, 18 July 2000, and reduced price previews from 24 June, a musical comedy based on the novel by John Updike with book and lyrics by John Dempsey and music by Dana P. Rowe. Although this was due to open in May, due to the technical demands of the production , the opening night was postponed to July.
Poster on gloss finish card, featuring top centre an image of a red devil's tail, the end forming itself into a heart, hovering over the title of the musical 'THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK' in black capital letters, glowing against a burning gold background. The background is red in the lower half of the poster; black at the top, with white lettering for the names of the production team and the name of the theatre and opening date. The design continues the 'devil' theme with the 'S' of 'A Musical Comedy' having another 'devil's tail' from its lower loop.
